Sergio Ramos Has Played In 45 Of The 47 ‘Clasicos’

Sergio Ramos has played in 45 of the 47 ‘Clasicos’ since joining Real Madrid, but he will not be able to play against Barcelona on Saturday.

They are the team he has faced the most since arriving in 2005 and it will be the first time he will miss a ‘Clasico’ in La Liga, BeSoccer Pro reveals.

Sergio Ramos is a regular in ‘Clasico’ meetings in the 21st century. The defender has experienced different eras and played against several different players who have played for the arch rivals.

This weekend he will be unavailable for Real Madrid’s game at home to Barca at the Di Stefano stadium. His injury forces him to miss one of those games that the player wants to play in every year. He has always taken part in it since joining the club since 2005.

He will miss out on what would have been his 46th ‘Clasico’ and that means if Leo Messi plays this Saturday, he will go level with the defender.
